Here I'm sure Nb3 is expected and usual. I play the Sicilian myself, and the one thing that really irritates me is deviance.
5. Nd4f3
I will use a psychological approach. He plays the Sicilian as black, just like me. I reasoned if I can get him out of the well known lines, I'll be okay. I also think he is more of a schooled player than an intuitive chess player. This has the flavor now of a typical Art K pawn game with me as white. The only difference is black's pawn moves and pawn structures. I feel pretty confident I can hang. A guy has to play the board. "The position on the board can never be ignored." But you are never playing against the wood, you're always playing against flesh. Em. Lasker made his living playing against the person.
5... Nb8c6
Here we have close to a classical K pawn game with the exception of black's pawn moves on the Q side. I am hoping to create K side play, where the Q side pawn structure will have little or no bearing.

Scotch Game... sort of :S
6... h6 7. O-O Ng8f6 8. Nb1c3 Bf8b4 9. Nc3d5
The offer of a pawn in hopes of exploiting black's King position and pawn weakness on the K side.
Here is a long winded idea variation. In hopes of baiting black into playing g4.
17. Qh5h4 g5
It worked, now here goes, exploiting the pin on the h pawn and also the pin on the e Knight, but bottom line is the K/Q lined up on the a1-h8 diagonal, a fatal combination.
18. Bc1xg5 Ne4xg5
Someone after the game said they would have missed Qd4 here because the hanging knight looked so large. "When you see a good move wait - look for a better one." - Emanuel Lasker
