The Anand game with So was fantastic.... Now we know that Anand is a real and true chess Champion, like Capa, Alekhine and Lasker.

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 d6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Nc3 Be7 5. O-O a6 6. d3 O-O 7. a3 b5 8. Bb3 {This is now the Anand - So game but here is it Black to play. Anand - So reached here with White to play their 10th move.}
Rd. 8-So drew with Carlsen and Anand beat Mamedyarov, so Magnus is ahead of Vishi by half a point. Last round has Carlsen playing White against Mamedov and Vishi has Black vs. Caruana. Sources say that Anand is playing some of the best chess of his life in this event.
Rd. 9 Carlsen squashed Mamedov in 35 moves, while Anand drew Caruana. Magnus wins the event with 7-2, 1.5 points ahead of Vishi. So has a chance to tie for 2nd, but his position looks very drawish.

Apparently it was Carlsen's 25th major tourney win...only 25 ahead of me
Correction: Carlsen only finished a point ahead of Anand, but a pretty overwhelming performance none the less. He might break his own record for the highest rating in chess history

2900 here he comes? Can you imagine? He beats a 2700 player, gets what, 4 points for the win?
