    it says:

"...A single rat can clear 200 square feet in an hour (done manually, the same area would take 50 hours to clear). A TB-detection rat can evaluate 50 samples in eight minutes (almost a day's work for a lab technician)...."

    Very impressive!
I think even all the rich countries should use them! -the money and time saved could then be extra money and time to spend on doing other good things.

Although, I didn't see statistics on how fast dogs/humans did the same job. If the Dog/human team could work twice as fast as the rat/human team, maybe it would make things more equal.

Rats doesn't weigh much, dogs do. How much weigh does it take to activate a mine to a blast?

I go for the super rat! https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT5aZqU9sZgCo8vcqSJMxD5MKUHN2BWA_4T5rq6XLt3zMVm_JTpWw

I imagine they wouldn't want dogs to activate a mine since it is a weapon against humans. So SuperRat is the hero here!
