He believes the planet will be destroyed by aliens if people do not play enough chess!!!
What chance is there of promoting the game with someone like that in charge?

You can recognize the aliens by their bald head and big black almond shaped eyes and greyish skin. They sometimes wear sombreros and disguise themselves like Mexicans.
