    It might revolutionise warnings against loud music. One possible consequence of this is that sound could change the way one thinks. Note that by possible I mean not ruled out, I don't mean actually possible.

    If that could be true there might be implications for underwater life, like Dolphins and whales and such suffering from the onslaught of sonar pings, it is ruining their acoustic environment.
