What happens to god when mankind goes extinct?

Mankind WILL go extinct someday, where does god go after that?

I guess he makes a second human race?

If mankind progresses enough with space travel, mankind may not have to go extinct.

In the concept of a creator, that has been for eternity. Who has allowed the world to evolve, for billions of years. That cherishes mankind above all else. He won't let us become extinct.

That analysis suggests the human race was down to maybe 20 people at one point in time. The older race, Neanderthals, DID go extinct and there is no reason to think we can't follow in their footsteps to extinction ourselves.

Space travel MIGHT save us if we get off our scientifically lazy butts and actually make a space bearing civilization, including interstellar travel as far away from Earth as possible.

Screen out the stupid people with an IQ test. Make up some bull$h!t statement that everyone on board the space ship will have to help fly the thing from time to time and so only the clever will be allowed on. Alternately, they may find the only practical way to do interstellar travel is to have frozen embryo's at say LN2 temps and the journey may take 10,000 years but science enables the ship and everything in it to have a lifespan ten times that if needed, so at journey's end, the embryo's are warmed up and put in an incubator and babies are 'born', raised at first by robots with all the good stuff to learn from old Earth but none of the bad and then 20 years later, they have a civilization on the new planet and people start having kids the normal way and now they don't have all that neurotic baggage of the old civilization and the robots instilled tolerance, compassion, and so forth in the first generation of kids while building the infrastructure for adults who would live in whatever they designed when the kids grow up.
