corrupt file?

I cannot open a thread entitled "a new forum" in Spirituality
without it hanging my browser. Everything else is fine.

I had no problem either with opening or paging through the named forum thread. Suggest you restart your computer. If the problem persists try accessing the thread by means of a different skin, e.g. timeforchess.com or chessatwork.com.
