Don't know if it's supposed to be a joke or not. ketchuplover has posted the same message on every chess forum going.
chesshood.com is apparently another site where you can play chess online, though I've never come across it before.
The owner of the domain name "chesshood.com" is listed as Eric Ropars, though the person ketchuplover is referring to, Emilie Ropars, claims to be the owner of the site on her youtube channel and other places.
I can't find any news story about anyone called Eric Ropars or Emilie Ropars getting shot.
Ok, so ketchuplover is Steven Ducharme from USA. His rating is 926. He won 62, drew 17 and lost 157 games. His record as white is 30 wins, 11 draws and 77 losses. His record as black is 32 wins, 6 draws and 80 losses.

Originally posted by Sebastian Yap Because he has been trolling every website including this.
The guy has made over 40000 moves here, and the post is an original post about something relevant to chess, not an irrelevant item to someone else's post.
That he also posted it elsewhere is harmless to anyone here, and I am not sure why anyone would care.
I don't think that meets the definition of troll as many would understand it to be.

That is because you have not seen his posts on other websites. Anyway, we will discuss this in our game, not here!

I don't think you should have brought it here if you had an issue, but since you did it publicly, this is appropriate.
In any event, it is still unclear why you thought giving his name and his game results in a post was something you needed to do. Is there a reason why, other than your having an issue with his initiating a post here?
He was only passing along a bit of chess news, and offended no one as best I can tell.
