344 now and some people at least in ourvicinity have given up the wait and taken down the decoration...

So we removed our tree yesterday... It seems we lack enthusiasm.

Isn't it supposed to be bad luck if you don't get it packed away on Twelfth Night?

Never heard that one. In Germayn the tradition is to take it down at the 6th (Epiphanias). In south Germany there is a tree collecting fun the Saturday after the 6th with burning the dry trees in a big fire (well some of them).

our tree goes back up in June for mid-winter.
