    In 10 years we will have sportsmen secretly implanting extra hearts in their arms and legs to improve performance.

    In the far future we can redesign our whole body to work much better. We could have two main hearts, multiple mini hearts, some mini livers scattered around the place, and maybe even an extra arm or two.

    I wonder whether enough of these mini-hearts could guard against heart attack. Probably not. I think a secondary main heart would probably be the best plan.

    I wonder if enough of these things were strategically placed in the veins and arteries if you could eliminate the need for a heart completely?
