If only it really was just 35 bucks.
If you actually tried to buy one, you will find you have to pay for a power supply, postage, USB stick. By the time you are done, it will be more like 100 bucks.
And that not counting the keyboard, mouse and screen.

This is for hobby use, so most folks would already have most of that stuff.

Look what you would pay for an admittedly more useful Asus motherboard....

It has many potential uses.
However, the power supply and the postage are unavoidable costs which more than double the purchase price. Here in SA, a second hand PC would probably be a better buy unless you need the small size.

I do think the Raspberry Pi is a brilliant idea - I was just explaining why I don't personally own one.
