People's life-force energy gets weaker the further they are away from other people. The devil is then able to jump in and create a cloud of confusion that prevents them from seeing one another.
Okay, why do Canadians see different stars than Australians, if they are above us on the flat earth? (My Flintstones forum has been hijacked by evolution/creation.)

Much more obvious and easy to test, is time of day. Phone up someone in a completely different timezone and ask them where the sun is. If you find that their time of day is completely different from yours, then a flat earth model has some significant explaining to do. (its probably not impossible, just kind of difficult).
And yes, I have spoken to people in the US who are 9 hours behind us, and either they were lying, or time zones are very real.
I have also traveled across one time zone, as well as traveled north/south and observed the longer summer days and shorter winter days here in Cape Town in comparison to closer to the equator.

The earth is not exactly a flat plain; the plain bows slightly downwards in all directions from the centre. This is due to the shape of the giant tortoise's shell which the plain of earth rests upon.
Praise be to the turtle for he hath the strength of a thousand jawbones and his feet are as chariots ridden by the slaves of bears which feedeth upon the face of the whore.

If some say a turtle and others say four elephants, it should be fairly simple to design an experiment to test which is true. A camera-equipped drone launched from Antarctica or something.

No, no, no. You don't understand. It's a turtle and four elephants. The world rests on the back of four elephants, which stand on the back of a turtle.
