    I was just researching a German chess player called Walter Niephaus (he finished ahead of Klaus Junge in a tournament in 1942, so I wanted to find out how strong he was) I came across the following picture:

    It seems to me that there are three Walter Niephauses in this picture. Surely if the Nazis had this sort of technology available they should have been cloning Alekhine.

    Here is a game of Niephaus where he duffs up the Caro Kann in a brutal and highly unusual manner:
