    I recall a rule that a game is a draw after 50 moves without a pawn advance or a piece exchanged. Is this rule automatically enforced by the RHP site?

    Not all draws are automatically enforced, like the three-move-repetition draw. Other draws are automatic out of necessity, like stalemates (no legal moves) or insufficient material draws (no win is possible). "Necessity draws" are automatic, other types of draws need to be claimed.
