Son of the Fischer craze. USCF active in 70s and 90s. USCF 1695 in 1999.
I learned to play at age 5. I got into USCF competition in '72. Around then I was also fortunate to play in the Merck Chess Club in Rahway NJ and in their industrial league matches. I got back into USCF in the late nineties briefly and at some point will start over-the-board play in competition again. One of my favorite books: Bronstein's Zurich International Chess Tournament 1953.
Currently playing at the Saranac Lake club in upstate NY.
