I play chess to keep up with my family; I don't mind whether my rating goes up or down. I'm not really capable of playing chess without chatting.
November 2008: I am in a new job and spending more time travelling. and so I have decided not to play chess for a while. John of Reading, on this site, (husband, domestic manager, etc) will be pleased to pass on any news or messages from my chess friends, and might even play chess with you - he will certainly give you a better game than I could!
Tournament Entry Rating is calculated by the formula (CurrentRating + HighestRating) / 2. The entry rating will never drop to more than 100 points below your Highest Rating.
