Who has claimed that government should own everything? That is not socialism and never has been socialism. Socialism is using resources for the benefit of the community rather than primarily individuals. The NHS (national health service) is a form of socialism because it benefits the entire community. However since certain elements of it have been privatised for profit it has seriously gone to the dogs. This is what happens when you let capitalists near your project, they suck the lifeblood from it for their own personal gain.

You can make yourself quite a career looking up all the flaws and warts of a particular socioeconomic system.

In the end that results in the same pattern all those like you follow.

You never talk about the virtues of your own personal ideology.
It's always about how bad the other system is.

And if one out of every 100 individuals does something that smacks of impropriety, you spread the cloak of suspicion over everybody.
