Obama paid ransom for Iranian prisoners

President Obama paid a ransom for Iranian prisoners who were recently released. Of course, he denies this but the hostage on the plane said that his captors were waiting for another plane to arrive, the one with $400 million, before they could take off and release him.

no he didn't.

he gave iran's money back (it's their money that they gave the US for weapons that were not delivered because the shah was deposed) as one of the many parts of the deal with Iran. basically the US gave back what they stole.

I think you're on to something here, whodey. I bet North Korea is pursuing a nuclear weapons programme so that later, when they stop their program and make a deal with the US, they can have their assets unfrozen. Brilliant!

Yeah, decades ago Iran gave the US 400 mil for weapons that we never delivered and now we gave it back. Remember the part where it was THEIR money we are giving back for weapons we never delivered. They made the mistake of thinking the US honorable.

So when the hostages were taken that was part of the deal so Iran paid themselves with their own money.

Here is the nice part for the US. We are giving them the exact amount they gave us for a deal we never delivered on but that money went into an interest bearing account so we benefitted from that money by collecting interest for 40 odd years.

So where is this paying ransom money?

Why do I get the feeling if it had been Bush Sr or Jr none of this would ever have come up. In fact I KNOW it would never have been brought up, not by Refumblicans for sure.
