So he sucked because he was a Democrat, is that basically what you're saying?
I thought King's entire scenario of when Jake went back to 2016 (well, 2011 in the book) after saving Kennedy to be yet another conservative fear tactic to show us all of the "dangers" of Democrat Presidents. Pure twaddle, is what it wa ...[text shortened]... e book.
Under any other President, the missiles might have started flying in October of 1962.
He brought about the Cuban missile crisis. The failed Bay Of Pigs invasion strengthened the position of Castro's leadership as well as his ties with the USSR and made the US look weak and incompetent. This led eventually to the events of the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962.
Kennedy was afraid he was going to be impeached, he authorized the invasion of a foreign country we were not at war with by mercenaries trained and financially backed by the government, which was A CRIME. He did it right at the start of his presidency, like some childish n00b with a new toy. He then botched it by pulling US naval and air support at the last minute. Brand new at the helm and he pulled a major blunder that was illegal to boot. It was incredibly stupid. He should have been impeached for that alone, and he had a lot of other screw ups and skeletons in his closet.
Kennedy's presidency was a disaster, but because he and Jackie were pretty everyone thinks he was a great president.
Truth is he sucked.

Blade Runner 2: The Edge of Human, followed by Blade Runner 3: Replicant Night, and Blade Runner 4: Eye and Talon, all by K.W. Jeter.
These were meant to be sequels of the book and the movie.

But they aren't! The second movie isn't directly based on the sequels by Jeter ... or do you have a confirmation somewhere that they are.
Now ... on which book is the sixth season of game of Thrones based? On which book is the second season of The Leftovers based?

Did anyone ever read The Eyes Have It by the same author? It had me in stitches, even though I was extremely unhappy at the time. I recommend it. It's only two or three pages long.
