    By mayor of Cannes.
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/08/11/burkinis-banned-on-cannes-riviera-beaches-by-french-mayor/

I welcome the decision. All this started with such "small" exceptions, Western multiculturalism gave a hand and lost whole arm, now they return to the source of the problem.

The only thing that should be wrapped in a sheet is dead grandmother before coroners come to the scene.

Yeah, same here. Care little about culture and identity but I like to see bare
breasts and buttocks, the more the merrier.

The mayor made it legal to ban wearing religious clothing in public. The implications of this can go much further than just beaches.

While I'm not going to criticize a mayor of a country that has faced a number of terrorist attacks in short time span, I dislike that the mayor won't come right and point the finger at Muslims. If you're going to be discriminatory, don't be coy about it.

No need to ban Burkinis. Just let IS run the place for 6 months; people will burn them after IS leaves.

I find a government approved dress code slightly unnerving.

I find DL photos of face-covering veils unnerving. Billowy bomb-vest covering swimwear at a tourist beach near terrorist country is even worse.
