There's a lot more to a voice than the vocal range. I could manage the lower ranges of Barbara Streisand but would still sound awful .
I'm going to listen to some of his songs because admittedly I have heard very few but I must be honest and say that I feel irritated by the way he uses his voice from what I have heard. I think it's because he never holds a note for longer than a couple of beats and because he flits up and around the scale so quickly that makes his singing lack any emotion for me.
