conditional moves

can anyone help with how to use deep mode,instructions seem a bit vague and it seems to not work

All the conditional moves are triggered by position.
You have to set the position to which you want the conditional move to apply - just click and move the pieces to wherever, then start the conditional move by clicking 'record conditional move'. Now make the move that you want to make in response to the position arrived at.
It has to be a legal move and it has to be your move.
