    This maybe obvious but in my game Game 2089223 i wasn't able to castle on move 24 (i got the pink square warnings)...am i blind? or a bug?

    You can't 'pass through' a square that is attacked when castling.

    Indeed...I believe Victor Korchnoi actually asked a TD if he could do just that in his match against Karpov.....stress does all kinds of strange things, as he obviously knew that , having been a GM for the previous 20 years .

    "Viktor Korchnoi, in his 1974 Candidates final match with Anatoly Karpov, famously asked the arbiter if castling was legal when the castling rook was under attack. The answer was in the affirmative, and Korchnoi ended up winning the game."

    Also he had only been a GM for 18 years at that point. An IM for 20 though.
