Disappearing skull

Yesterday there was a skull ... I decided not to take it and give my opponent an extra day.

He still has not moved but no skull!

It says TIME EXPIRED and he is NOT on vacation ... why no skull???

The only thing I can think of is maybe an issue with your browser? Try logging on with Firefox or Chrome and see if it appears.

Did you perhaps use a conditional move and forget?

White has 23 hours and 57 minutes to move.

There is no time bank left for either player. Is that the time that expired?

Which means that his opponent must have made a move 3 minutes before you posted, which was several hours after wolfgang59 posted.

The skull returned!!

(Still didnt take it and as pointed out the game continues)


Must have been a glitch ... but I would have been mighty annoyed if I wnted that skull!

He may have made a move that you missed hence the skull went for a while.
To check this open "log" next to "info".
"log" lists the times of every move,but you can only access your own game logs.If you look at someone else's games it is "game in progress".

No this wasnt the case; there was a skull, then there wasnt then there was. I made no moves in that time.

Now and then timeouts are suspended, then the skulls disappear, but I am not aware of any anouncements in that way lately

But if your opponent makes a move the skull won't be available for another 24 hours.Check the log to confirm your opponent did not make a move.
