Ok, so since I've come back I've noticed the threads now all have their own coloured icon. Most are obvious: yellow is recent, orange a little less recent, white is now closed, purple is
supposed to be... IE8 alternatives is slipping
sticky. But what are green threads? They seem to be a sub-section of the yellow threads, but I can't work out what the difference is.

Yeah, that's what I thought at first, but in the busier forums the green ones are mixed with the yellow ones. My latest conjecture is that green threads have been started in the last umpty hours (or days), while yellow ones were created earlier but may have later replies. But I'm not sure.
