If it IS timed out, you have a skull next to it.

If there is time bank, or if the user is on vacation you don't have the skull because it isn't timed out yet.

    Skull, click
No skull, game has time left for one reason or another. View the info next to the game in your game list for more info.

Vacationers have a yellow icon with a plane next to their name.

Can a player show the vacation sign for a long period of time but still regularly move thus not giving his opponent the option to claim a time out win

Nah, no one would think of that - that would be a bit sneaky wouldn't it?

Unfortunately someone has thought of that

Wouldn't this be some kind of abuse of the vacation system?
No, I don't think anyone would do that...

There again, they are limited to 36 days vacation per year - so look at it like this: every day they waste messing you about is one less they can use on the rest of us.
So let me take this opportunity to thank you.

Thanks Boney, keep up the good work.

    Read the FAQ.

Do not pose the same question twice.

If you have a question, start a new thread instead of using anothers thread.

Click info next to the game in question. There must be time of sorts left if you see no skull next to the game.

Also, right on the page where you make your move bottom right area you should have info like this:

    Time controls

7 days per move. 14 days timebank.

White has 6 days 5 hours and 34 minutes to move. (plus timebank)

White has 14 days of timebank remaining.

Black has 9 days 19 hours and 4 minutes of timebank remaining.
