I have noticed that when I challenge after choosing "Random", I usually get Black. Now, that's OK by me but, unless the challengee gets a choice, the random algorithm needs a random adjustment.🙂

How many times have you used the random function and how may times has it fallen either way for you?
To be truly 'random' is very difficult, but there are lots of very convincing algorithms nowadays. I would guess that across the whole user base the likelihood of either black or white would be the same when choosing 'random'. For a given user (yourself for example), the chances may seem skewed slightly.
When you've used this more than a thousand times and you are very far from 500/500 then there may be a problem - but otherwise ... well it's just random.

If this is random or not doesn't bother me.
I chose white or I chose black.
If my opponent doesn't agree, then I expect him to delete the game and start another one with his chosing.
