Renewing Subs

I'm just coming up to my first year on here, can anybody please tell me how to renew subscription ? Is it purely down to me to make sure I renew or is some kind of renewal generated automaticly ?

Usually an email is sent to the email address that the site has for you. This
email contains partial bank details that you first used to subscribe with, and asks if you would like to make payment via this method again.

If you subscribed by credit card.you will be renewed automatically. I was after my first year.
