My subscription ran out a few years ago, if I renew it now, will my star be a different color, or will it be bright yellow again?

It should be whatever color it was before. Here's the current chart, as shown in FAQ.

I have now updated your account.

The account upgrade should be instant if the order process is followed through to completion after the payment. This is often not the case though, and our integration with our payment processor is in need of improvements.

Send feedback ASAP if there is an issue with a subscriptiosn like this too, so we can resolve it right away.
