Tournament start dates

I hope this has not been covered somewhere already & I just cant find it but...

How can I find out when a tournament is due to begin?

I just joined one & it is still taking new entrants (no problem) but, I am looking everywhere to see if there is a start date or, a max number of players or... something but, I can't seem to find it.

Can anyone help?

There's no way to see a particular date. On the page where you go to enter the tournament, the left hand column shows minimum and maximum number of players. It starts automatically if the maximum is reached, and will not start before the minimum is reached. During the intervening period it may be started manually by an administrator if the tourney is particularly slow to fill and the players request it, I think (not really sure about this).
