New message sending restrictions

It was only a matter of time until this was introduced, but it became a necessity today.

To prevent Spamming, non-subscribers can now only send 10 messages per 24 hour period.

I am sorry to impose this on you if you are affected, but it only takes one idiot to ruin it for all (as has happened recently).

Subscribers continue to be able to send unlimited messages.

Does that include in game messages?

I chat to non-subscribing members during a game regularly.

I would hope not - also, it should not be necessary, since only the Cat would have the stamina to spam that way 😀

Russ, are you talking about personal messages, posts in the forum, in-game messaging, or a combination? It's not too clear.

we can only hope - after the rubbish posted by non-subscribers.

Sorry, this does in fact mean using the private messaging system. This was vulnerable to spammers before today.

In game messaging is unaffected, as is forum posting.
