The army can now teleport troops from one side of the world to another.
If anyone ever did invent teleporting, then one of the best uses would be free power generation. Even in the army, launching spy satellites seems like a more sensible use than transporting soldiers.

In terms of actual raw military power, they can't really get any more of it. If they would swap nuclear weapons for teleportation, they might actually be less powerful overall.
