Could this be the end of the 100 year+ drought?

If I were a Cubs fan I'd be saying the Cubs will conquer the baseball world this season!

The Brewers will conquer the baseball world this season!

If it were not for global warming I would say yes.

Well let's see, they humiliated my Reds 16 to 0 and then had the utter audacity to pitch a no hitter to add insult to injury? That's only looking "good"?

Why not just send them to the World Series now?

At least the Cub ownership is trying to put enough talent on the field to give them a chance. In Seattle, once a player develops some real talent, and demands a major league salary, Mariner ownership considers them too expensive, and trades them, or just let's them go. I hope the Cubs go all the way!

That is one of the puzzling aspects about the Cubs. They are a big money team, so why the long drought?

Obviously, teams like your Mariners or my Reds should never make it to the big dance because they are small market teams.

They have a good start. It's how you finish though. I hope they do it!

    Well, obviously, you're wrong.
