! 25 ... de2, if I am completely honest, passed me by until I was playing through the game afterwards! White is lost either way, but 25 ... de2? would let the imprisoned pieces back into the game, so I could argue that I was right to play to mate the king with my extra pairs of minor pieces and rooks.
