I figured that this was a great example of how to play The Rook Gambit. Let's watch as the fun ensues.
1. b3 b6 2. Bc1b2 Bc8b7 3. c4
What about e3 at this point?
3... c5 4. g3
The start of The Rook Gambit.
4... Bb7xh1 5. f3
Traps the bishop in, as the bishop is more powerful than a rook early game, so this is clearly to my advantage.
5... e6 6. Nb1c3 Qd8f6 7. Qd1c2
Because now if the knight moves, Qxb2 is unsafe.
7... Bf8d6
I feel that putting this unprotected bishop there ready for the Ne4 fork was not a necessarily a good idea.
8. Nc3e4 Qf6e7
And now black's rook has to fall to the bishop.
9. Bb2xg7 Ng8f6 10. Ne4xf6
No reason to take yet if a better move can be played first.
10... Ke8d8
Also possible would have been Ng4, threatening Bf6, pinning the queen.
11. Bg7xh8 Qe7f8 12. Qc2xh7
I can't really think of a fun move for black here.
12... Bd6e5
This anxiously attacks the a1 rook, prompting for the double-rook gambit.
