1. e4 b6
Kind of a reverse-Larsen.
Queen out, second move. Ill advised?
Thinking next of developing with Nd6 and Bg4.
Well, if I don't take it, then I have to compromise the safety of either the kingside of queenside castle.
3... dxe5 4. Qf3xa8
The rook gambit ensues.
Forgetting that without the d pawn, the knight is unprotected.
5. Qa8xc6 Bc8d7 6. Qc6b7 Ng8f6
Giving up the a7 pawn, wanting to castle to safety to activate the other rook.
7. Qb7xa7 e6 8. Qa7a6
Not sure what benefit came from this move, as white's pieces have not moved at all except for a late pawn and the queen.
8... Bf8c5 9. Bf1b5
This wants to put a halt to my castling, although if Bxb5: Qxb5+, Nxb5 and safe.
Why not? Good tempo.
