Perhaps black thought he could get the piece back with ... Qb4, but white can hold his forked pieces with Rd4, now threatening Bxf7+ and the black queen hangs. Alternatively, ... Qc5; Qf4, Ng6; Be3, NxQf4 (there is no good place to retreat the black queen to, so might as well trade off the queens); BxQc5 and white keeps the piece with excellent development. 1 - 0
