If black takes the knight, his g and h pawns will be off the board, the f6 knight will be pinned and white will be looking to play e5 or qf4. Even if black doesn't take the knight castling kingside is probably not going to be feasible. Blacks lack of development and surplus of moved pawns is now showing.
