Trump is doing that. Not my fight. Why would I go to court for it?

You are going to be waiting a while for a Trump concession. It worked for Bush so apparently he thinks it is worth a shot. Whining about it to a bunch of chess players is not going to change that.

I don't give a hoot about Trump's concession. Joe Biden is the President elect. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a tactics book to study. 🙂

Well, Thank You for that public service announcement. Now, take that high quality evidence of yours and try to convince a judge with it. 😏

Officials are investigating wonky election results in Antrim County in northern Michigan that could add a few thousand votes to the tallies for President Donald Trump and Republican Senate candidate John James.

The irony is that certain states require a mandatory recount that will happen and that extra ballot counting is why Trump has not lost yet.
I believe Trump wanted ballot counts to stop that were not mailed on time. If I am wrong feel free to post your source of information.

Trump said he had confidence in FL mail in ballots, but not NY ballots and for good reason. NY once threw out 2 out of 3 ballots.

Fox News: Stop counting the ballots — unless they will help me win! That’s the argument President Trump has been making since election night.

In Pennsylvania, where early returns had him ahead, Trump claimed mail-in ballots shouldn’t count. In my home state of Arizona, where early returns showed him being down, Trump was furious at news organizations for calling the race before all mail-in ballots were tabulated. Yet in Florida’s primary earlier this year, Trump actually voted by mail himself.

DONNA BRAZILE: TRUMP ELECTION LAWSUITS ARE A DANGEROUS UN-AMERICAN ASSAULT ON DEMOCRACY

Trump’s attitude seems to be: Mail-in ballots for me but not for thee. But this argument doesn’t pass any legal muster. I say this as a legal matter, not a partisan one. I was the Republican attorney general of Arizona for two terms, but it was always the law — not my party registration — that guided my decisions.

And you don’t have to take my word for it. Judges appointed by Democrats and Republicans alike have made it clear that President Trump’s election lawsuits aren’t worth the paper they are printed on.

It's time for Trump and his supporters to accept this loss, and move on-

It is astonishing that such a rich developed country as the USA can land a probe onto a moving asteroid and recover surface samples, yet it cannot implement something so mundane and obviously beneficial as a national health care system.
America is no longer "We the People" it is "We the Fortune 500"

"We" keep the money out of the hands of the widows and orphans, and into the hands of the insurance companies and hedge fund managers who (for a fee) know how best to manage it. 😕

Is Trump really going through the courts at the moment trying to get the vote counting stopped?

And, if so, how can anyone support a man who is trying to take away the democratic rights of people?
I don't know what Donald Trump is doing. I do know there are a great many here who don't either, but are making a great many claims about it.

I believe, is what happened. A narrow Biden win and GOP control of the Senate.

Moreover, my guess is that this is what Biden secretly hoped for as well.

If he'd swept into power on a Blue Wave, he'd have been enormously pressured to go for single payer healthcare, ban fracking, pack the Court, heavily jack up income taxes, etc.

Now, he can govern as a centrist. He can f ...[text shortened]... of the American people. This idea was marked in Biden's statesman-like address yesterday afternoon.
But all-in-all, he can focus on bringing people together rather than on cramming a leftist agenda down the throats of the American people. This idea was marked in Biden's statesman-like address yesterday afternoon.

Sir - Though I agree with the bulk of your post, I'd like to point out that the affordable care act was a sincere attempt to bring healthcare to millions who could not afford it, and not an attempt at "cramming a leftist agenda down the throats of the American people" I apologize if it disrupted some in the upper middle class like yourself but contrary to the chatter of Mitch McConnell, there are millions of Americans who cannot simply call up their friendly insurance man and purchase some handy healthcare coverage, nor is medical bankruptcy always a convenient alternative. So, please stop painting Democrats as Marxist thugs.

    Also,

Anyone can be taught strategy, openings and endgames but the ability to calculate variations deeply cannot be taught.
That strength depends on the player and you have said you are 65 years old?
Calculation is the hardest thing for aging players.

Something to consider before you spend 50 a week on lessons.
Your thoughts are duly noted, but I've waited many years for this opportunity, and will not let it pass me by. This old dog still knows how to hunt! 🙂

all you libs salivating and slobbering at the thought of $6 gasoline and higher taxes, its not over yet.

    This is scotus bound.
It's high time for Trump supporters to accept the fact that the same electoral process that put Trump in office in 2016 will put Job Biden there this time around. Getting fussy, filing frivolous lawsuits claiming "everything is rigged" other nonsense won't change anything. So, drag the lawyers into the fray and file those lawsuits if it makes you feel good, but even Republican appointed judges are shooting them down. The American people have spoken.

    - and have a nice day! 🙂

If one is serious about improving their OTB skills, how important is a chess coach? What can a coach do for a motivated player that books and online resources cannot? How does one go about locating a coach that will maximize a players potential?

Some Polls were off by almost 20 points (Maine senate race?)

    Most were off by 5-10.

Are polls just biased opinionated propaganda?

Should they be banned in future elections?

Will people laugh at them in the future?

I think Polls are sitting next to "anonymous sources" right now.
Can Polls be replaced with a better and more accurate system?

The answer to both is "No" As I stated here before, polls are just a snapshot of peoples opinions at a moment in time. They were not designed to accurately predict election outcomes; and why would anyone want to ban them? If someone wants to give their opinion to a pollster and make their thoughts known, I think that might be allowed under the 1st amendment.
