President Donald Trump and his allies say their lawsuits aimed at subverting the 2020 election and reversing his loss to Joe Biden would be substantiated, if only judges were allowed to hear the cases --There is a central flaw in the argument-- Judges have heard the cases and have been among the harshest critics of the legal arguments put forth by Trump’s legal team, often dismissing them with scathing language of repudiation. Even Trump's own hand picked judges have said there is no legal merit to Trump's (so called) evidence. Yet Trump supporters continue to bang the drum about voter fraud.
@averagejoe1said Do y’all maybe know who that was? They wrote Earth First on a pipe, so it’s hardly anyone in my crowd, You folks are in a diff more liberal crowd, could be them. the earth deal people. Sounds cool, yeah, but here is the problem.

"Joe Biden should end the US pretence over Israel’s ‘secret’ nuclear weapons
The cover-up has to stop – and with it, the huge sums in aid for ...[text shortened]... and Kamala Harris are known to be very pro-Israeli, though
slightly less extreme than Donald Trump.
This farce should end. The US government should uphold its laws and cut off
funding to Israel because of its acquisition and proliferation of nuclear weapons."
The chances of this happening, though slight, are improving. GOP lawmakers have been making a lot of noise recently about sending our tax dollars to the American people and not overseas in the latest budget before the Senate. Carving out an exemption for Israel is something they'll have a hard time defending. Israel is America's spoiled child. It's long past time to cut the apron (and purse) strings.
@fmfsaid I think the homogeneity of car styles is something that "drooling midrange accountants" and their ilk have foisted up consumers over the last 40 years because they are dreary risk averse jobsworths. I don't think the homogeneity of car styles is caused by "consumer wish lists".
The numbers on Wall Street would suggest otherwise, but hey - maybe you know more...
A collection of pictures and cartoons from 10 years of doing
the bloggy thing. I enjoyed putting it together but curled up
my toes and groaned at some of the stuff I posted in those 10 years.
Hopefully somebody somewhere has picked up something they
can use in their games from all the games and positions I used.
All I really wanted to do was put ...[text shortened]... then I consider it a good job done.
Nice hat. I really like that desk of yours. Cup with pens, pencils, chess set, and random books scattered about. I'll wager there are millions of others out there (including mine) that look just like it. I think these posts are excellent!
@fmfsaid Will the cars that ordinary people drive ever again be as diverse and as distinctive in their shapes and styles as they were in the 1960s and 1970s?
I doubt it. With all the available info. on demographics, consumer wish lists etc. Auto companies now know what it takes to build a car that generates company profits, and maximizing profits is more important than style and diversity.
@dood111said No because the US as a society and culture had morally evolved beyond that....thank God that Germany Japan or Russia hadn't invented The Bomb first because each of them would have gleefully dropped nukes by the truck load until they did take over the world.
No because the US as a society and culture had morally evolved beyond that....
This is the 2nd biggest piece idiocy I've heard in 10 years (just behind Mexico paying for a border wall) US society and culture is no more moral than any other country. May I remind you (to quote a James Bond film) "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter" Walk a few miles in the shoes of other citizens in other countries for awhile, and you'll sing a very different tune. You're simply displaying your own ignorance by posting this trash.
@duchess64said As far as I can recall, it was a very good book.
(My copy seems to have been stolen years ago.)
Many thanks to everyone here for the feedback. This looks promising, and I'll put it on my list. Still a few months before I'm ready for another book though - 🙂
@dood111said Says as a child it was a big deal for her whole family across several generations.
What an obvious self-serving lie, it wasn't invented until two years after her birth and it didn't begin to catch on for twenty years.

It's as believable as Biden's fairy tale about standing up to Corn Pop and his gang while wearing a Speedo..
Well, this sounds pretty darn serious to me. I say a Federal investigation of this matter is warranted - NOW! 😠
Clearly Kamala Harris and Kwanzaa is a far higher priority than the 3,000+ Americans dying of COVID 19 everyday, and our overburdened healthcare infrastructure, while Donald is down in Florida playing another round of golf.
Those Libs just don't understand what really matters! 🙄
The covid relief bill languishes unsigned by Trump while Trump plays golf in Maralago.

Yep, a really great guy, Donald Trump.
Historians are going to have a BALL castrating this SOB.
@averagejoe1said Little late for reading links, but get this.......the corp CEO guys who you all hate, they get rich from....guess what ...successful corporations, which make IPhones, vaccines, peanut butter and cars, etc, all of which you use!!!

PS: This tutelage does not need a link.
Little late for reading links, but get this.......the corp CEO guys who you all hate, they get rich from....guess what ...successful corporations
Wrong again! The Corporate CEO guys get rich by striking deals with the board of directors, and sucking tax $$ from the taxpayers. I know reading is a challenge for you, but if you'll make the effort, you might learn something.
@averagejoe1said Shoveling foreign aid is a bit painful. Yesterday, the Covid bill included a lot. Countries begging, can’t take care of themselves. Do any countries give us money.?
Call It Corp welfare ifyou want, it all gets reinvested . Into our economy, to make the computer you are typing on.As a socialist, you could not get that. Pitiful.
As to Norwegians, I don’t see them d ...[text shortened]... compare Norway to our melting pot. You sound like the sad Bernie lunatic.
I said it and I am glad.
Call It Corp welfare if you want, it all gets reinvested
Wrong! Much of government subsidies and corporate tax cuts goes to stock buy backs and bloated salaries to CEO's and CFO's. If that's your idea of "reinvestment" I have a bridge I'll sell you - Cheap! 😏
Please read and learn - (If that's not too difficult for you )
@duchess64said During the Continuation War, Finland (which hardly could produce aircraft) used
every captured Soviet aircraft that it could, even if dangerous to fly.
One Soviet type was known to have an unreliable engine, which led to the deaths
of several Finnish pilots when their engines failed while flying over water.
On one occasion, a Finnish pilot's engine failed while he was ...[text shortened]... He was never seen again. Yet no Finnish pilot openly refused to fly that type of captured aircraft.
He was never seen again. Yet no Finnish pilot openly refused to fly that type of captured aircraft.
Yes indeed. Those were desperate times. Out numbered and out gunned by the Soviets, the Finn's used weather, all white camouflaged, misdirection, superior knowledge of the local terrain, in addition to captured armaments' to wear down the Soviet advance. Those Finn's were a brave and sturdy lot.
It was mentioned recently in Chess Life. This book is priced over $100.00 on Amazon. Does anyone here own a copy? Is it really that good? Is it worth the price?
