Not about renaming schools, you obviously didn't read the article, they declared that ACRONYMS were steeped in white privilege and racist so they set about changing them.
Well, that's pretty serious stuff! My ACRONYM is steeped in green privilege. I lost an online chess game yesterday because one of my white rooks has "issues" with the c3 square and wouldn't go near it! Now my rook is repressed and has to join me in therapy (fortunately it's group, so we can split the cost) 😏

You're just jealous because you didn't get a space laser for Hanukah.

Mine is awesome! I was bored last week so I torched Vallejo.

Yeah, I was really down about that. Now I'm repressed and have to go to therapy. 😢

Renaming schools. That's your big controversy?? Sounds like pretty serious stuff!

What's your next one? Jewish engineered space lasers starting wildfires in the western US? 😏

What was the controversy about? Mohinder Singh Gill
The NCAA and many high ranking officials in the AAU (when there was one) tried to make the case that since Mohinder Singh Gill represented India in international competition, he should not be allowed to represent an American University in NCAA track and field competition. I don't know how (or if) this was resolved, but it caused a minor uproar back in the day.

Sounds like they could have a room full of people saying she wasn't even there and you'd still side with her fish story.
Hey Skippy - Let's assume AOC lied. Let focus on just that, right??

Who cares about the people that died, were injured, and all the property damage. Let's forget all the MAGA hatted armed goons that smashed windows, kicked in doors, killed people, pounded people with blunt objects such as fire extinguishers and clubs, stole computers, and everything else that wasn't nailed down.

Yup...AOC lied. We've got our news stories prioritized! 🙄

To what extent should athletes be free to choose their nationality in order to participate in international competitions?

I cannot believe this is still an issue! When I was an athletic young man (MANY years ago) a long jumper named Mohinder Gill, born and raised in India. attended Cal Poly SLO in California was embroiled in a similar controversy back in the 70's. I thought this would have been sorted out by now.

It's not Tucker Carlson making these claims, but congressmen that have come forward, here's another:
"Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., also blasted media coverage, tweeting that insurrectionists never stormed the hallway that she shares with Ocasio-Cortez"
It does not back up that either was lying. She said - She said.

So, I guess we're supposed to focus on this, and not the armed mob that killed, injured, and destroyed property. Good Plan! 🙄

She wasn't even in the Capitol building during the riot!
She was in the Cannon building which was not stormed by rioters so her story about people breaking into her office and her hiding in the bathroom was another made up story!

    Another Jussie Smollett 😆
According to the most recent reporting AOC was in Rep. Katie Porters office during the riots. I don't know if this office was in the main capital building, but since a recently arrested armed man who was among the rioters, confessed to his own plans to kill AOC, I would say she had plenty of reason to be scared, since the armed goons were all around the capital grounds, not just in the main body of the building.

Just because Trucker Carlson tell you folks something on FOX News, does not automatically make it gospel. Mr. Carlson was not there.

You might want to check out the link below (if that's not too complicated for you)

Please stop lying. America does not have an "open border" with Mexico. That border is monitored with a great deal of high tech surveillance, armed border guards, and dogs.

Right, so end poverty and you have less people having kids.
The EIC is meant to keep families from complaining about the economic slavery while those without kids get the shaft.

The Bill and Melinda Gates foundation have donated billions of $$ to support health and anti poverty programs in Africa. If Mr. Gates had a "problem" with black people, that wouldn't happen.

Doesn't it make you ashamed to post such lies? Your statement is absurd, in the extreme!

It's rained for 8 straight days here in Seattle, we've not seen the sun in 10. It's been 6 months since my quest for OTB respectability began, 6 months of tactics exercises, and online play. Just finished grinding out an online OTB win against someone of my own level. Post game analysis reveals 2 blunders, the engine reveals 2 more. 6 online tournament's and my record is still dismal, but improvement is beginning to show. Wins against higher rated opponents now happen more often. Small victories like this make our winter of discontent much more bearable. Looking out the window, it's raining harder, there are ice pellets in the rain. Real OTB tournaments are still months away, but by that time I may just have improved enough to earn some respect. The fire to compete still burns. Back to the book and the board.

    Just had to tell someone...

During the Obama administration, illegal border crossings were at an all time low, yet Donald Trump insisted Democrats wanted "open borders" Hence Trump's policy to separate little children from their parents, and throw them in cages. President Joe Biden will sign three executive orders Tuesday that take aim at his predecessor's hardline immigration policies and try to rectify the consequences of those policies, including by establishing a task force designed to reunite families separated at the US-Mexico border, according to senior administration officials.

The latest orders build upon the actions taken in Biden's first days in office and begin to provide a clearer picture of the administration's immigration priorities.

"President Trump was so focused on the wall that he did nothing to address the root cause of why people are coming to our southern border in the first place. It was a limited, wasteful and naïve strategy, and it failed," one senior administration official said. "President Biden's approach is to deal with immigration comprehensively, fairly, and humanely."

Mistreating children is not going to solve anything. It may take years to undo the damage our former President's immigration policy's did, but we're moving in the right direction.
