A strong club player, began playing OTB chess in 1983, won my first tournament in 1985, joined Liverpool chess Club 1985 and played board 1 for 2nd team till 1997. took a 12 year hiatus returning in 2009. I enjoy playing congress chess and am currently board 3 for 1st team.
