I am a professor of history in Southwest Missouri. I'm also a pretty average chess player who enjoys the game for its own sake. I'm not interested in tournaments or rankings. I just want to play a few games here or there for the pure pleasure of playing. I'm not looking to win by timeout, but if you make me wait around forever I will click on the skull.
Tournament Entry Rating is calculated by the formula (CurrentRating + HighestRating) / 2. The entry rating will never drop to more than 100 points below your Highest Rating.
