  The B2 pawn can't take the knight because black is going the other way. Pawns can't take backwards. Obviously this is a completely unrealistc position and would never occur in a real game but Nc3 mate in 1 does work here.

  I don't like this kind of puzzles. Note the board, Black King is on first line of White, and Black Pawns on second line of White.

  Good puzzle but white does not mate in one the b2 pawn will take the knight.
