Extreme weather events - timeout suspension

A timeout suspension is now in place for 48 hours due to limited internet access and power availability for many players recently affected by extreme weather events.

Why timeout suspension if that player isn't from the affected area?

How would you know? Flags aren't reliable at all - Americans play under the flag of the "old country", and v.v. Neither, with VPNs and so on, are IPs. Better to be clement.

Hi - a very good and human idea to suspend timeout! I have some friends here who live in the hurricane regions. I am German and play with a greek flag.

Timeouts have now been reinstated.
