Breaking Bad will be in the hunt. The leader has shown a willingness to put in the time and effort into his clan, with good results.

Max set chess aside for a while for matters significantly more important than chess. It had nothing to do with ceremonial victories or inane web site chatter. All of us in IVV are hoping he will be back next year and I believe it is his intention as well.

How much do you pay them? I'll underbid them by 20%
@lemondrop saidI always put in the work. Working smart not hard is the key. This is our sixth year. First year, second year, both dead last. Third year somewhere around 14th on the first page. Fourth year and 5th year we finished 4th. The key here is, each year we improved by a ton. We did better in net points, gross points, everything you can think of we did better. This season we doubled the points or close to it from last year.

Next year I think it will be an off year for us. I learned a ton in these six years but more in this year than any other of the years combined. We are a lot closer to first place than people actually realize this year.
Next year changes have to be made. I need everyone to come back as this is a fantastic group of people and players. It's an honor to be a part of it.
But we have some cleaning up lets say before we can think about winning. I think it's an off year next year. I think Metallica wins by a landslide possibly next year and the year after? Somewhere in 2023 or 2024 I think we take it all. We will have a great shot at it.
In the next few years Drunken Pawns will take second, and then it's anyone's guess on third and fourth. Al's team is in there, IVV is in there, Lemondrop is in there, Anyone in the top 10 right now will be in second place on down.
But as much as I wish I could lead my team to a win next year, I was not good enough as a leader such as shorty, Mghrn55, Max, I learned things you need to know to late. My team paid the price.
If my team is willing to do things you have to do in order to win, we will certainly have a great chance of winning more than just one year.
But for now, it will not be us next year I don't think. And that is my fault, not my team. I think the team we have is capable of winning it any given year. They are an amazing group of people and players. In the end, I failed them.
Lets see what happens the year after next. I need time to fix things. And I want to thank Lemondrop for the kind words. It was very kind and gracious of him. Thank you to all the leaders who had nice things to say about my team. It was a pleasure and a lot of fun playing those leaders and clans who did play us a lot this year and played quite a bit in the spirit of which clan play is supposed to be played. Meaning you find a way to play, not reasons not to play. So those of you who played thank you so much, I am very grateful.

The number 2 clan also has respectable numbers.
So either bring in a clan games rating or continue to watch the clan feature die off.
We have club ratings (which is pointless 🙄 )
Why not a clan games rating to prevent sandbagging?
I figure the clans will last 5 more years and then they will be a non issue just like clan leagues.
I would rather see it be a popular option at this site (like before) but I don't think that will happen without a change.
