This is a great video. Thanks for posting it.

One gay icon and one jazz icon.

Well done.

@mchill

Great video of Sting in NY, but a bit spooky to see the Twin Towers in the bckgnd.

I found the cameos by Quentin Crisp and Branford Marsalis even more interesting. Crisp passed in 1999 so these clips are somewhat new to me.

Just seen this post.

I really need to binge some T&J; used to love this as a youngster. My favourites were the ones produced by Fred Quimby. As kids we got into the habit of shouting “good old Fred” when his name came up on the start credits.

Thanks for the link.

I've got a few T&J DVDs, they always crack me up.

On par with Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner.

The Fred Quimby ones were much, much better than the newer Chuck Jones ones.

Some of the earlier ones have characters which are not contemporarily appropriate, but then lots of creative stuff is a subject of its time.

I really liked the ones with Spike the big dog and his pup. Classics.

Heh, Spike was a great character.

I like the one where Jerry saves him from the dogcatcher and Spike tells him if he needs his help to "just whistle".

One of my faves also.
