I do. I can see why they decided to go ahead with a new album, because the vocal sound is true to what was created by Layne Staley.
I lived in the Seattle area in the late 80's and early 90's. My favorite band of the time was always Soundgarden (saw them at the Paramount in 1992 with The Melvins opening) and never did like Pearl Jam, but I liked most everyone else.
Good sound on the new tracks.
Have only heard a few songs but it sounds like their early stuff. Don't mind it myself. The slower songs remind me of the Jar of Flies album and even a bit of the Mad Season spin off band they did.
One thing i don't get though, is why do they have the makeup like KISS in this video?
