If so, could you explain who are you, what are you, why do you are the way you are, what do you like, why, and with whom?

    I'm trying to understand.

    Thanks,

If you mean, why do people dress, "like a goth" then there are too many reasons that have nothing to do with the goth style of music. You're asking behavioural science questions, all of which can be explained by simply taking any sub-culture and using the same answers to answer your questions.

If you are asking why people like goth music, well that's easy.

To the small extent that it was serious, most of the content of my post lives here.

I said nowhere that it isn't many others' theory too, or that it's to be taken seriously (whether for the first time or not).

On the Halloween weekend this year I was at Whitby Goth Weekend. It's a great weekend in a little town on the north east coast of England with a fantastic atmosphere. The photo gallery for that one hasn't been updated on the website, but here's a link to an old gallery.

Now, you see how different Goth is, in comparison to the general depressed and pale teen that everyone imagines!
The weekend is a huge event with thousands of people attending and staying in the town - great for their economy when shops are open late and all accomodation is fully booked.

And no, I'm not goth, but I love the town and it's just a 20 minute drive from where I live. 🙂

My question is simple: Do you consider yourself Goth?

The two have deviated quite a bit. If you ask the average "goth"-looking about Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy or Fields of the Nephilim I bet they wouldn't know them.

Any self-respecting Goth knows who Bauhaus is, agreed.
