    gotta love south park.

certainly one of the best tv series, controversial, but incredibly funny.

Agree with most of these, except maybe Cheers. I saw an episode recently, and it was really dated and not funny.

    I might add:
    Taxi
    Family Guy
    All in the Family
    Curb Your Enthusiasm
    Get a Life
    Frasier

*Definitely would NOT include Everybody Loves Raymond.

I actually just started watching Cheers again and found it incredibly funny after such a long time not watching it. Frasier, Cliff, Norm and Rebecca have me in stitches constantly.

I totally should have added Curb to my list as well.

    Taxi?

seinfeld really was quality, really underrated this side of the pond.

    father ted
    the mighty boosh
    allo' allo'
    scrubs
    two and a half men

Coupling is one of my favorite series. The UK version, not that horrible thing they tried in the US a few years ago.

Big Bang Theory can be funny, but only the scenes with Sheldon.

One that hasn't been mentioned and is one of the very few quality comedy series that didn't have a noticeable drop off in quality in it's final years:

    The Dick Van Dyke Show.
